Knighton is right on the border of England and Wales so is a prime location to explore Powys, Shropshire and Herefordshire with the towns of Presteigne, Ludlow, Kington, Llandrindod Wells, Hay on Wye, Hereford and Shrewsbury all in easy reach by car, train or bus.
Knighton itself has great pubs and restaurants on offer if you don’t fancy cooking, as well as parks, a train station, a swimming pool and golf club. It sits on the popular Offa’s Dyke path and Glyndwrs Way for those keen to walk and explore. It also is home to the Offa’s Dyke Centre.
